Immigration Lawyers Association
Of The Philippines

Statement of the Organization

Whilst an important measure of the strength of an economy is the ability to attract foreign investments, what is oft ignored is the fact that with foreign capital inevitably comes foreign talent. The trap of a nationalist perspective is to blur our understanding of the axiom that to make foreign capital work for us, we must allow those who were able to generate that wealth to bring with them the skills to recreate that wealth in our nation.

As an association of immigration lawyers, we have pledged ourselves to ensure that the regulatory environment is in tune with this axiom.

It is in this ambit that we work with our clients and our partners in government relying on the formula of compliance, integrity, and professionalism.

Jose Cochingyan, III

President
